History

SLChapman LLC is headquartered in Wood River, Illinois. Over the years, our lawyers have served clients in more than 45 states.  Our lawyers experience in cases throughout the United States gives our staff a thorough exposure to all facets of litigation. Clients throughout the country have learned that SLChapman LLC lawyers are as close as a call away.

SLChapman LLC was founded on the principle of representing working families. Many attorneys and support personnel come from industrial backgrounds, which provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the issues that working people face each day.

For over 30 years, attorneys in our firm has been an advocate and a voice for injured people. That tradition continues under the leadership of Brad Lakin, who managed The Lakin Law Firm from 1997 through 2008.  In 2009 he teamed  up with Charles Chapman to form SLChapman LLC.  The firm has a total of forty-five employees including eighteen attorneys.
