Ron Hoover
Ron worked in the liability claims department of State Farm Insurance Company for 31 years, specializing in personal injury investigations and investigations regarding coverage questions. He acted as State Farm’s litigation specialist for Madison and St. Clair counties. Since leaving State Farm he has testified as an expert witness or consulted as an expert in five states on matters relating to unfair claims practices of bad faith.
He has investigated railroad (FELA), maritime (Jones Act), general liability and criminal cases including murder cases. He specializes in auto accidents and heads the firm’s Pre-Litigation Unit.
Ron graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a double major in History and Government and the Presidio of Monterey Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA. After graduating, he worked for the National Security Agency in Europe for three years.
He is a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators.
